D Evans Plant Training

Plant training based in South Wales

An Overview of Our NPORS Training Courses

We offer NPORS training and testing in Wales and nationwide. NPORS was founded in 1992 and is one of the UK’s leading accrediting and registration bodies. Working across numerous sectors. NPORS are a CSCS partner card scheme. Which is open to operators working in any industry.

They are independent of any training board or trade association. The scheme supports the training and testing of lift truck operators, mobile plant operators and users of powered work equipment.

The NPORS Construction Operator Card will in future be issued in line with the requirements stipulated by the CLC and will display the CSCS logo if required.

All operators who require the NPORS with CSCS card logo must have completed the CSCS health, safety, and environmental test within the last two years.

Please let us know when booking if you would like an NPORS/CSCS card or just a traditional NPORS card.

An overview of our SQA NVQ’S

Our NVQ’S (National Vocational Qualification) is accredited by the SQA (Scottish Qualifications Authority). This a work-based qualification that recognises the skills and knowledge individuals undertake in their job role. The candidate must demonstrate their competency in their chosen path.

Turn your red card to blue.

In order to progress through the CPCS or NPORS/CSCS Scheme candidates must achieve the relevant NVQ in their current discipline which will allow the progression from a ‘Red trained operator card’ to a ‘blue competent operator card’. This needs to be carried out within the 2-year life span of the trained operator card. For more information on progression through CPCS click on the below link

Funding for NVQ

If you pay into the CITB levy then you will be entitled to a grant towards the cost of the S/NVQ, up to £640.00. For further information visit
